Dr. Amer Jarrar is a researcher at The Ottawa Hospital Bariatric Centre of Excellence. His work is rooted in quality improvement, with a focus on strengthening the bariatric surgical pathway and the patient experience along it. He is interested in using real-world clinical and pathway data to identify gaps in care, evaluate interventions, and translate findings into practical changes at the centre level. His goal is to bring a quality-improvement lens to bariatric care - asking not only whether what we do works, but whether it reaches the patients who would benefit most from it.

Dr Amer Jarrar est chercheur au Centre d’excellence en bariatrie de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa.
